Today I’m working on the Summer Inn B&B website and there are three gentlemen sitting chewing the fat while I work. Now I have no problem with these guys sitting around having a great time. That’s what cafés are for. I think it’s great. What bothers me is how they chew the fat. They are super loud, which in and of itself is ok. But they’re just super loud in trying to top each other’s stories. It’s a weird balance between saying “I’m more cynical, and obnoxious!” and “I’m more crass and caught an even bigger fish!”.

It’s sad really.
