You’re so close to Austria and Munich (I think). You really should take a day to check out Neuschwenstein (sp!) Castle, or Salzberg (very pretty – home of Mozart), or Munich (with great beer, I hear). You can also go on a “Sound of Music” tour there.

We’re more in southwest Germany. Not really close to Austria. However, everything is relatively close to everything else here in Europe.

My suggestion would be to meander aimlessly and see what happens and watch the deadlines as they go whooshing by.

P.S. Thrilled to hear of the return to health! How’s the German beer?

I like your ideas Dad! The german beer has been pretty good. However, I haven’t gotten to taste much, as I’ve been sick. Soon though! And also Belgium is known in homebrewing circles as “The Disneyland of Beer”
